This is, in many ways, an autobiography.

Ball park Frankie #8 - Surprise Party
A week-late Easter special. Here's where I started trying to tell stories with more pictures than words, and I think it's a style I'm fond of.
Ball Park Frankie #6 - The Show MUST Go On.

Again, a long set-up for a not-very-funny joke. My goal in later comics was to break that pattern. This one I actually did before numbers 4 and 5. Why? I'm not sure. But because this one came before numbers 4 and 5, the subtle stylistic evolution over time is more visible in 4 and 5, and looks slightly retrograded in 6. This took the longest out of the three of them.
Ball Park Frankie #5 - The British Are Coming!
I divided this into two parts. The second part I imagined first, but when I got to drawing it, I realized that I was creating a joke whose funniness was disproportionate to the length of its set-up. So I wrote in another lick halfway through.
Ball Park Frankie # 4 - Affirmative Reaction

Starting with this one, I changed Jim's color to dark red, because previously, Jim and Stips were both black and indistinguishable from one another.

Ball Park Frankie #3 - Show And Tell
When I had the idea for this third one, I noticed the story flowed perfectly from the second one, so I just kind of went with it. Since then, all of the comics' stories have theoretically been progenitors of the stories directly following them. But they could also all stand independently.

Ball Park Frankie #2 - Playing The Field
The idea for this one was very dialogue-based, which would be boring as an animation, especially since there isn't any sort of movement to animate. So I decided to turn it into a comic page. I liked it better and ended up switching to pages for all of the following comics (insert datestamp here).

This first one in the series. It started as an animated gif, but it decided I like them in comic form better. This one was more of an experiment than anything else. (insert datestamp here)
